The post contact structure (also known as the escapement device) on the grand piano allows the hammer to quickly leave the strings after being struck, avoiding any interference with string vibration. When lightly playing the piano keys, the structure behind the touch will bring a slight sense of stuttering.
Clavinova's keyboard is equipped with a touch back device that reproduces the touch behind the bottom of the keys. After design, just like a grand piano, this feeling of touch can only be felt when the key is lightly touched. After strict adjustment, these keys can provide additional friction to balance the homophonic and responsive performance of the keys without affecting performance.
